We are Getappers!!
―Hello! We are Getappers, a tap dance team at Waseda University in Japan.
We are not an ordinary tap dance team. Unlike others, we use Geta shoes — a traditional form of Japanese footwear made of wood — instead of regular tap shoes.
The team was formed in 2007, and now has 30 members (including international students). We have appeared on many stages including Waseda International Festival, Mega Peace, Chikyu-kanshasai and others.
